Using CONVENE

How to find a meeting, see deadlines and add dates to your calendar.

Find a meeting

The list opens on meetings that have not finished yet, grouped by month. Narrow it with the filters on the left:

  • Name, city or area. Type part of a name (ASCO), a city (Barcelona) or an area (oncology).
  • Therapeutic area and region. Press the buttons to switch them on. Several can be on at once: a meeting shows if it matches any chosen area and any chosen region.
  • From and To. Show only meetings that have a day inside these dates.
  • Include meetings that have finished. Off by default. Turn it on to look back.

A tag reading Check dates means the dates came from a listing site or two sources disagreed. Confirm on the congress website.

Deadlines

Press Deadlines above the list to see every deadline in date order, with how many days away it is. A deadline appears only where an official page gave the date. A meeting with none listed is not a promise there is none: open its website.

Your calendar

Add to calendar on a meeting downloads a small .ics file. Open it and Outlook, Apple Calendar or Google Calendar will offer to add it. Add all to calendar does the same for everything currently listed, including its deadlines. Download CSV gives a spreadsheet with the same list, including the source of every date.

The calendar file is a copy. If a congress moves its dates later, your copy does not change.

Share

Copy link to this view copies an address that holds your filters, so a colleague sees the same list.

Questions

A meeting I need is missing.

The list covers major meetings, not every one. Each was added only after an official page, or a society listing quoting it, showed its dates. A missing meeting can be added once an official page gives its dates.

How do I know a date is right?

Every entry shows the page its dates came from and the day it was read. Dates can still move, so confirm before you book travel.

Does this page keep anything about me?

No. It has no account and sends nothing out. Your filters live in the page address only.
